World's highest cockpit?
 

What aircraft cockpit sits the highest off the ground? The 747, the Antonov series, the C-5, the A380... ? Thanks

The space shuttle sitting on the launch pad. (But I don't know about traditional aircraft...)

Or the space shuttle when it's riding piggy-back on the 747.

But is anybody sitting in the shuttle cockpit as it's piggybacking?

They did during the intial glide tests with Enterprise...

I saw on the history channel that the C5 cockpit sits 35' AGL.

I saw a cockpit that was nestled 40 stories high...this was a couple years ago at a hotel in SFO.

Perhaps the one from "Soul Plane"?

I'm going to say the 747. The scarebus a3ugly, oh i mean the a380 sits pretty close to their fleet average height so pilots can make a easier transition.

An-124 - 8.3m
