Default B744 and Cat III

Can any B744 drivers share a list of minimum equipment required to conduct CAT II, CAT III approaches? Im looking in particular whether Thrust Reversers are required for CAT IIIb operations? Anway, a listing of required operative items would be appreciated.

Thank you

TRs are required for CAT IIIb, but not required for CAT II or IIIa.

It gets operator specific. Our maual says three engines and three TRs for CAT II, four and four for CAT IIIa and b. The Boeing Flight Crew Training Manual says you can do CAT IIIb with three engines operating but doesn't talk about TRs.

True, it isn't about what the aircraft can do, but what your certification process says you can do. This applies to mins and required equipment.

Check you MEL and OpsSpecs. The MEL will give you the information you need and,as been said, it's operator specific.
