Default Hand Flying

How much hand flying do you like to do before you turn on the autopilot?

I usually hand fly to at least 10K (unless there is an RNAV SID or some other high workload situation) to try and keep some semblance of stick and rudder skills...

Same. I'll hand fly to at least 10k. If its an interesting departure procedure, or I'm feeling good that day, I'll hand fly up to RVSM. I'll usually start hand flying below 8k, especially if its a visual approach. Keeps the stick and rudder skills.

I hand fly to the top of climb, and from the top of decent to landing (unless the flight attendants are throwing food my way, and that never happens). So on a 10 hour leg, I might hand fly for almost an hour.

I usually hand fly to 10k or cruise, depending on how I feel and the workload we're presented with. I generally click off early for all visual approaches, but am guilty of being lazy on the ILS and click off between 1k and 200' depending on if it's the first leg or the seventh of the day.

Echo in here?

I'm usually to 10K or cruise. Sometimes I'm lazy and kick it on early, sometimes don't use it at all.

On descent I'll usually kick it off at between 10,000 and somewhere along the approach. Like Diver Driver said, all depends on leg number.

Cruise on the way up, 8k on the way down.

Fly raw data as much as you can. The FD & A/T will make you lazy and dependent on them.

Depends on my mood. Usually to 10,000 or occasionally cruise on the way up. On the way down it is always from around 5,000 down or so or 10,000 down at an outstation.
