The most reliable you'll ever see is Horizon..they'd be the ones to ask. Compare their dispatch reliability to RAH and it'll be a large difference. |

Hangar queen. The apu needs to be babied a lot or it breaks. The airlines in the US were not impressed by it.

Flew the beast at 9L and fly it at YX... The airplane has some quirks. A lot of issues we had at 9L could be fixed with the "supplemental resets" section of our QRH. It seems like the airplane is very picky about maintenance. I have seen many issues here that I never saw on the same airplanes at 9L.
Horizon is proof that they can be a reliable airplane. |
At QX, it's pretty reliable, nowadays. When first acquired, it was constantly being subbed with a jet due to myriad issues. The Chinese airplanes we bought had the right mods installed (they clipped many of the wires to the caution lights- problem solved!)
There are still a few quirks, but no worse than other planes I've flown. |
The Q is reliable in the same way that a 1961 MG-A is reliable.
You can rely on it to be broken if you try to use it. |
