If any of you Waterskiers have an app into UAL you will be put in a shorter stack for an interview. It is codified in our CBA and make sure your reps know about it as well so they can coordinate with the UALMEC.

“Subject to other legal obligations, the Company shall make reasonable efforts to fill Pilot vacancies with the individuals who satisfy United’s hiring standards, who have previously worked for carriers represented by ALPA, and who are no longer working for those carriers for economic reasons such as lay-offs or the shutdown of that carrier.”

Frontier is going to hire 450 this year, we need and want you. United isn’t hiring, plus they just put you out of your jobs after loyal service for them for X number of years. Tell them to go pound sand. A guaranteed interview at United is gonna be a guaranteed waste of time for most.

But it's worth giving it a shot. F9 will still be there if you can't get a legacy.

Discriminatory hiring, from a trailer, with HR as a center focus. That’s a class act. Honestly it’s laughable. No respectable pilot should subject themselves to that rejection.

how exactly did United put them out of a job? If anything United’s contract kept them afloat. It was TSA that went to United and say they couldn’t sustain things the way the my were going and couldn’t staff the airline per their contract with United...
