Hey guys, do you know how long does it take HR to respond to your application when you send it via airlineapps.com? Is it worthy to send them an email too? Thks.

It's really a matter of them seeing your name under a pile of paper after they get back from lunch. Just call them.

Depends if they have enough rooms at extended stay. Probably be double
Insurance I think right away or 90 days. Been 2.5 years, so my memory is foggy.
Should be right away when you get your id badge. So maybe your first weekend.
When you're in training. But when you are working the line don't count on it.
IPad already issued.

Would you know what the insurance cost is for one person? Generally speaking are the benefits ok or anything you can add on them? Health, dental, vision, 401k etc....

It took them exactly a week to call me. I wouldn't stress about it. They're calling everyone, she probably just hasn't gotten to your app yet.

Found yet another mistake on the LIDO's. These things are complete garbage. I can't believe our union let these things get to the line. What the heck are new hires going to do when they hit the line and have to deal with this sh!tty LIDO's...along with learning how to fly the damn airplane in a fast paced environment. That outta be interesting. We should be getting a Jepp subscription on the iPad like every other damn airline with any common sense. I can't believe this sh!t.

I agree, I'm not sure how something like this got approved considering how many errors they have been found to have.

I don't know what the union has to do with it. And we are the 3rd airline to use them. Not an excuse, but just throwing that out there

The union being our last line of defense against this travesty. Im actually surprised our POI has signed off on this as well. He'll dig his heels in on the headsets, but the LIDOs he's fine with?? Not only is it a safety issue, but it's our ratings on the line. And for what?? So the company can save a dollar.

Don't be so dramatic. Missing a departure freq isn't going to kill you. The 3 errors that could have any sort of effect have been addressed. That is the point of a validation period, correct errors. I agree, Jeppview would be best but given e-Lidos or carrying jepp binders I'll take the lidos any day. Pilots are just afraid of change. Quit stressing, this job already sucks enough.
