Don't think so. You will go over te preflight slides. Anything is fair game though. Biggest advice. Be calm. Move slow. Don't rUSh. You are not being paid for fast. You are being paid for right. You'll do fine.

We've all already had our orals..do they ask again during the sim ride?

For the checkride, go over the weight and balance section of the GOM.

- Know how much heavy, checked, and carry on bags weigh.
- Know what to do with bags in the closet.
- Know how to calculate the CG (wedge in, wheel out, add ACM, what to do if the FA jumpseat is deferred, etc).
- Know the cargo limitations (including when the net needs to be used).
- Make sure that you're not in the caution zone with empty seats in the back.

Additionally, know a few things about performance.

- Know the suffixes on the performance data (-C, -ST, -FL, -O, etc).
- Know how to calculate max takeoff weight.
- Know how to calculate the headwind/tailwind component, and when to take the wet runway and anti-ice on/residual ice penalty.

That's all I can think of off hand. If you've already passed the oral, the check ride is pretty straight forward.

This place is what it is, nothing more. You know what you are getting into when you get into it. (If you didn't know, then you didn't do your homework) If you can deal with it, good. If you can't deal with it, don't. It's not easy, but it's not rocket science either.

He's basically saying do your homework before coming to TSA.

On the upside, if you come to TSA now you get to see if we can get industry standard work rules :o
