Thing is that they must have needed us to sign the contract inorder to finance the leases. So once again they make money off our backs and we don't reap ANY benifit!!!!
So the potential dangling carrot was just effectively shoved up out a$$!!! |

They gave us $1.5m signing bonus to finance leases for 12 -700's?
i think maybe he means tsh would be unlikely to get financing for any a/c if any of the umbrella companies were likely to strike. therefore, maybe the rfp theyve been telling us about all along was for gj... idk...just a thought.. |

not a bad thought but i thought i remember CS telling us during the road show that there was in fact an RFP specifically for large turbopros and he could say no more about it. i dont know why everyone is so pessimistic all of the sudden (aside from past histories) but the winner of that RFP hasnt been announced yet so the way i see things, we havent lost yet. right??

They probably aren't even financing the planes. DL will probably retain ownership just like all the CPZ planes. GJ merely provides mx and crews

The turboprob rfp is still out there... This is something different that I don't think many/any saw coming.

When TSH bought compass it was funny that the only positive they could spin for TSA pilots was improved relations with Delta. Didn't help TSA out but it sure helped out gjet.
|
If I were at TSA, I would be sending out resumes and doing apps for anyplace that is hiring. TSA is the dead end of dead end jobs.

also...there is really no sense in speculating or believing anything at all until youre sitting in the plane with the gear up.

TSA is not financing any planes, Delta owns the 700s that Gojet is going to be flying.
