Actually it was Obamas Administration who failed to enforce this legislation. Several threads on this on this site alone. Then again I wouldn’t expect his supporters to hold his feet to the fire or for him to hurt his homeland supporters. Or look where the Clinton foundation got a huge amount of money...and you would have expected her to do something?

Think of it this way, Trump just MAGA by giving all the Airlines in the US a 14% tax decrease. Now it’s up to Management to use that new money to play the game as it sits now, pay some money for legislation that will help them compete, and stash some away for a rainy day. And while I understand several airlines have had zero tax liability due to losses from the lost decade, going forward they are saving 14% on what they would have had to pay without this tax reform.

We might also take a look at our own Airlines. Why is Jetblue codesharing with ME Airlines? Why did our legacies not get awarded government contract flying and it was somehow allowed to go to a carrier that doesn’t have equipment that could do the flying? Who are the legislators that allowed this to happen?
