Airlines depend on free trade. Tariffs start trade wars unless they are extremely narrow and only protect a fledgling industry. Trade wars wreck free trade.

Labor, forever a finger. Never the hand. Chinese trade, always welcome here. Uphold the contract.

Tariffs make a rather effective threat to get what you want...

I think the bigger threat is having a a Department head [Elon Musk] who is actively suing to have the NLRB deemed unconstitutional.

If the NLRB goes away...buckle up.

Plenty of legal subject matter experts would disagree. Have a nice day, though.

Please cite for me where in the Constitution the US government is supposed to have anything to do with the labor market?

You need to take a history class. We stopped adhering word for word to the Constitution since 1803. Your idealistic view of the Constitution has never actually existed in this country. Even if we were to take your literal view of the Constitution, you would also have to adhere to Jefferson's belief that the Constitution should be updated every generation.

You are no different than the fringe Jewish sects claiming you can't mix wool and linen.

This game? How about you show us where in the Constitution that is expressly prohibited? Spoiler alert: It's not.

In fact, the U.S. Supreme Court has already ruled in 1937 that the NLRB is constitutional. But we know this charade is not about understanding the true meaning or intent behind the constitution; this is simply a thinly veiled attempt by business owners to weaken/dismantle unions to make more money. The irony is not lost upon me how self-proclaimed constitutional absolutists are actively working to undermine their own rights with their efforts.

Incorrect. Read the 10th Amendment.
