Default Weak Unions and Employers

Unions are "Paper Tigers", they rely too much on what the "Lawyers say" and not enough on what the "Rank and File say" .................. The Rank and File are paying the Service Fees (dues), the Union leadership in this country does whatever it feels compelled to do with that money ................ cut to the chase, pure and simple.
I have seen Union Officers working their jobs at my MEC level, and then when the next contract came around ............. they ended up with some kind of Company Management job, appears to be their reward for doing a "mediocre job" for those who paid their service fees. Looks bad, tastes bad in the mouths of the Rank and File, and basically one of the most arrogant and flippant things I have ever seen. I know there are arguments around by those declaring that "having a Union member in Management can help us", that is nothing but pure bull .....................
So what say you ???
