The point is that right to work is bad for represented labor. If you only care about our little sphere and not looking at the impact to all organized labor, makes me question your motives as being a part of any union.

After working in corporate aviation for 2 private and 2 public companies for the past 20 plus years, you might want to venture out there in the RTW environment to appreciate what union membership provides.

Absolutely agree. My last two jobs were corporate, no union. Being here at UAL is a utterly amazing to me what the union does for us. And amazing how many I fly with take it for granted.

All the RTW supporters have never worked in aviation in a non-union environment. ALPA may not be perfect but it sure makes this job a better place to be.

Not to mention safer!

I flew corporate as well for 15 years and the difference is night and day. The pressure to get the job done no matter what can be intense when one is worrying about one's income being in jeopardy. I know of pilots being fired for placing the owners wife's bag on the ramp prior to loading all the multitude of bags (loaded by the pilots btw). Or how about a major flight dept in the Atlanta area that makes beverages and laid guys off out of seniority. I'll be a happy dues payer the rest of my career RTW or not.

RTW supporters? You mean like the 29 republican senators that cosponsored Rand Paul's NRTW bill S.391? I didn't see any dems on that list. None.
