Vacancy 17-09V

Looks like they're trying to address a smallish 756 FO shortage.

EWR 756 FO 25
LAX 756 FO 5

Closes on 2 June.

I'm not interested but I've heard that EWR 756 flying is some of the best in the system ... a lot of different European destinations.

Would have been nice to have that offer in class a few weeks ago . :(

You can bid it now. Just be prepared to be on reserve for a lot longer vs. the guppy or bus.

Bid away my friend it's an increase in pay so you are not seat locked:). Enjoy the 756 I loved it.

I wonder if this means they will need to schedule a new hire class sooner than NOV.....if those all get filled there will be a problem somewhere else. If they are un filled then I would assume they need to fill them?

An increase in hourly pay (only a few bucks in this case) doesn't necessarily equal an increase in annual pay. It could actually equate to a potential pay cut. I already know you know this. This reply is meant for him to read.

Yep I'd make more as a line holding 737 FO than I do currently on RSV as a 787 FO.....but if he wants it it's his for the taking.

I bet you were working hard for every bit of that pay on the 737 vs the work load on the 787.

Some may say too hard;).......but every undesired SC chips away at the good life a little :D

I could care less about the 757 with my seniority , just trying to stay out of LGA on the 320 bottom guy .:(.

Hopefully creates some movement and new hires as it comes down the pipe
