Wow, yet another underwhelming bid. No movement at the Captain level despite numerous retirements. Thought this "new" bidding system was supposed to offer us more chances to move up or around than the gigantic six month ones we used to have?

Perhaps Emperor Kirby hath no clothes or in other words, expansion is fleeting.

they can't have a large vacancy bid with the displacements still being done with the 747 pilots and 787 closure at IAH... it would be a total cluster if they did that. I'm expecting a big vacancy bid in the early Fall.

There wasn't supposed to be any vacancy bids for the foreseeable future. Now there is a Vacancy bid and the underwhelms you? You sir are s hard man to please.

But I guess we all kind of new that already.:D

Yep I'd make more as a line holding 737 FO than I do currently on RSV as a 787 FO....

Seriously? Were you working 80-90 hrs? Scoring some senior manning trips? May have to rethink my strategy.

As soon as you cross guarantee you make a ton more money on the WB......but if you are dragging 73hrs it's a wash at about 83. So it's not hard to make more money as a NB FO. Iv only cleared 75 hrs once this year. But my numbers are off by $1000 because I commute to WB and I could be NB at home. So my break even is s little lower.

It's the same argument with WB FO line holder and NB reserve CA.

756 pay vs 737/320. Two words... blended rate. And soft time, so four words.

If you're not breaking 90 hours on narrow body pay every month, you're not beating WB reserve pay.

Meanwhile at Delta a Jan 2017 hire was just awarded CA on their latest bid.

On the MD88 I'm guessing?

And not just the old run of the mill NYC MD88: it was Atlanta MD88... the master base! To a 4 month new hire. Wow.

Other bid awards:

LAX 737 Capt is at 2 years 10 months
NYC 737 Capt is at 2 years 4 months
ATL 717 Capt is at 2 years 6 months
LAX 717 Capt is at 2 years 7 months
NYC 717 Capt is at 1 year 3 months
ATL M88 Capt is at 4 months

NYC 767-400 FO is at 10 months
DTW A350 FO is at 9 years 7 months
LAX 777 FO is at 2 years 6 months

Epic.
