New passenger dynamic
I thought it was maybe just my slanted opinion of the record settlement with dr. Dao causing me to see increased passenger aggression. Apparently not. (record in terms of time)
Today, taxiing to the gate in EWR, with a short delay for alley traffic, a passenger got up and started walking to the lav. FA asked him to take his seat. His response was "you're gonna have to through me off". That's when I got the call. Got called back after he was back in his seat. I thought this weird but FA says it is much more common now. More people hoping to hit the Oscar lotto, she said. |
brake check!!

Maybe record time but if he got more than 50K I'd be shocked. and can you please stop calling him a Dr. He doesn't deserve that title:rolleyes: |

No doubt, although group psychology might be effective in these situations, "Folks, per FAA regulations, we can't taxi with a passenger standing, so we won't be able to get you to the gate until the passenger who just got up returns to their seat"

Why did you not have him remain in his seat until everyone was off the jet? Then have a convo with him and the police on how to be a grownup.

Also, regardless of his history, he graduated medical school, so he earned the title MD. Not defending him, just telling it like it is. |
