Haven't heard of a single pilot being let go. But hey, I don't hear everything.

Carlos got fired from my new hire class. He was changing the temperature on the thermostat in the classroom, so they let him go.

(He also tried to use positive space to travel on off days to a place that wasn't his domicile or HOR..even after being told repeatedly not to do that). We came back on a Monday and his seat was empty. He returned to water ski...where he had never resigned.

Several years ago there was a smart phone abusing Skywester who got let go during initial training. Which would, in fact back up Grumbles claim of "more" regional guys being let go.

There's also the one that had "performance" (attendance) issues that was let go.

That one is about to get a whole more interesting, gonna be good.

On one hand you gotta wonder who would do that? On the other hand was that a bit excessive?

That was in addition to abusing PS travel in indoc? What a moron.

While we're on this application topic, does anyone know of a good university GPA range that Delta prefers? Maybe a cutoff? Thanks.

Don't F with that thermostat! We heard about that guy. The thermostat thing is new to me...story we heard was that he was trying all kinds of ways to get positive space to Hawaii or something, after repeatedly being warned to stop. Eventually he talked someone into activating the PNR. Most expensive booking ever.

It was St Louis. And Doris...the nicest lady in the world, told him not to do what he was trying to do and the consequences if he did it.
