Not at all.
My question was just more a function of reading some of your posts over the past few years. They all have the same, unhappy, negative feel. Please, carry on.

Unhappy and negative? Consider the fact that he knows how good it used to be and provides specific examples of how we can better ourselves.

Just because he wants to better the profession doesn't mean he doesn't appreciate what we have. You call it negative, I call it forward looking.

Through his posts I gather that he's enjoying the hell out of his current situation.

I think it’s a fine line.
We can’t have a “burn this mother down” mentality anymore, because our success and the company’s success is tied together. But at the same time you have to hold the line with the contract etc.and there’s ALWAYS room for improvement

Now what?

I can neither confirm, nor deny this.

Suppose u logg out of airwatch...how do u log back in? Man I hope I don’t get a trip tomorrow.

Change your group to LCAB7x7 to get full access to App Store and all data.

Public Service Announcement......that is something that is monitored on a regular basis. As was mentioned earlier, the association has had to help more than just a few of our brothers and sisters doing a carpet dance.

Don't waste your time. These guys are more smarter than you or me or the company. I've been informed of that on APC several times.

You are correct.....posting for the new hires, hopefully they take heed as their circumstances and consequences are a wee bit different.

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that it has to be said, don’t actually do this.

This is a good thing. Really good.

Personally, I like having the company wipe my apps for me. Keeps things tight, clean, and fast.

Could end up being a bummer. Hope they are gentle.

I know that I am but a mere TK weenie, not an all knowing line swine. However, DO NOT PUT EXTRA NON COMPANY SHEET ON YOUR COMPANY iPad. Also do not jack around with sheet like putting the LCA load on your company iPad if you ain’t one.

I know, I am not worthy, it’s been explained to me here on APC. But hey just sayin’ this can go very bad for you.

Yak02 02-06-2018 03:17 PM

It would be nice to have our calendar and address book sync up with our computer and phone. Any ideas?

So you’re sayin that I shouldn’t have the new “PC Oral gouge” on the company IPad?

I recently downloaded the ICloud Outlook Add In onto my Windows desktop to save stuff from my old Ipad for the new one, using my UAL ICloud account. Next thing I knew I was seeing new appointments entered via my desktop appear on my Ipad. I think I could do the same with contacts if I wanted to re-enter them as ICloud contacts. YMMV

worstpilotever 02-06-2018 07:41 PM

Why would you want personal schedule info on your company iPad? What if you had some event on there and could not get the day off so you banged out sick for it? Odds of anyone figuring it out? Low. But why open yourself up to it? Just get your own iPad or surface or whatever and keep it to yourself. I just have to shake my head at the lengths people go to potentially hang themselves.

Ezccs will export your schedule to iCal. Even puts little hamburgers on the flights you get fed on. Send it to a work specific calendar and share with whoever you want.

Cruz Clearance 02-07-2018 12:51 AM

Happened to me last year. Even though
I have not added any any dodgy apps and I only use it for work.

FWIW, calendar export is also built-into Crew Companion and is now “real time” sync’d with the UAL system. No need to manually update using external software (like Ezccs). Use it with virtually any phone or computer.

Crew Companion ==> Options ==> Calendar
