My question was just more a function of reading some of your posts over the past few years. They all have the same, unhappy, negative feel. Please, carry on.

Unhappy and negative? Consider the fact that he knows how good it used to be and provides specific examples of how we can better ourselves.

Just because he wants to better the profession doesn't mean he doesn't appreciate what we have. You call it negative, I call it forward looking.

Through his posts I gather that he's enjoying the hell out of his current situation.

I think it’s a fine line.
We can’t have a “burn this mother down” mentality anymore, because our success and the company’s success is tied together. But at the same time you have to hold the line with the contract etc.and there’s ALWAYS room for improvement

Public Service Announcement......that is something that is monitored on a regular basis. As was mentioned earlier, the association has had to help more than just a few of our brothers and sisters doing a carpet dance.

Don't waste your time. These guys are more smarter than you or me or the company. I've been informed of that on APC several times.

You are correct.....posting for the new hires, hopefully they take heed as their circumstances and consequences are a wee bit different.
