The last time you spent a night in a Hilton or maybe Sheraton Hotel did you check and see who actually owned the hotel? No you did not, it was a Hilton or what ever brand name hung on the wall.

It's the same with United, the customer could care less who owns and operates the airplanes and crews, its United Airlines.

While you could care less, the amount of caring less might be close to not caring less and up to the interpretation of the reader/listener to interperet. Like irreguardless it does not imply much reguard or little. Just not that you have no reguard
