I have a question regarding United Background check. First of all, I understand the importance of honesty, I have never been one to hide anything.
I have an arrest from a relatively minor offense, which did not result in a conviction. Will this be a problem with United?

Seriously, disclose everything. You can pull an arrest report on yourself. Do it and see what’s in there. If you explain it, why you got it, and what you learned from it, you’ll be ok. Just be humble and don’t hide it.

Other than alcohol related motor vehicle offenses, I’m almost certain that the application only asks about criminal convictions, not arrests.
Absolutely never ever lie, but DON’T volunteer anything that isn’t specifically asked on the other hand.

From: Tom’s Whipping boy.
They asked about my ankle monitor during the interview. I told 'em it was a medical monitoring device, and presented my dad's ALPA card from 1955. They said "oh okay, nuff said HIPA and all that", welcome aboard.

Im almost certain the question on the application asks if you have ever been convicted of criminal offense. -
getting arrested isn't a crime. -I wouldnt t have any issues with answering that question honestly with a no.
However, they most likely took your prints & photo, so it will stay in the system and they will see it. -they will then contact you and ask for your statement on the event. i would also point out in such statement that your answer to that question as written is honest and correct.
you might want to look into getting it expunged. - it will also be in the system for global entry and they will ask you for basic synopsis as well, but won't prevent you from getting it
