Any reports of a crew getting robbed on the employee transportation going to the airport from hotel in lima?

I am hearing a crew got robbed, but not sure which airline.

Heard it was an entire Delta crew in front of the hotel, at gun point. Rumor only.

Thanks. I actually saw a shooting one day in Lima. Middle of the afternoon, busy street. No women shrieking, no panicked running. People just kinda moved along with less regard than a squirrel road kill in Atlanta.

Just goes to show what pusses the Deltoids are ;)
. The United crew in San Paulo that was mugged at gunpoint, took the pistol from the muggers and beat him with it.

Life is cheap there.

Sao Paulo... Is that a true story? Dang..

Sao Paulo is a true story.

Thanks for clearing up the Lima event.

It's been a while, but I recall a Delta crew getting strip searched and robbed at gun point in Lagos. Walking back to compound after dinner. Back about 10 years ago.

This stuff happens from time to time.

I believe there is an armed guard right inside the Lima hotel at the Casino.

Where does Delta stay?

Hell, we have at least 4 armed Federales in MEX at the airport.

Nice, well I fly to Lima often on Delta and I think y’all have been “fake news’d“. Hotel is nice and takes security seriously. They have a casino as well.
This is our modern culture though. Take some rumor and let vulgarity fly. Kansas Catholic boys had the most public case of it recently.

Don’t let PS envy ruin your impression of fellow professional aviators. Perhaps a “Deltoid Puss” stole your wife or ran over your dog, but there are over 14,500 more of them that didn’t do that to you. Overall we’re all pilots subject to the good and bad decisions of our Mgmt.

Since when did Liam Neeson get hired on here? He must have done his research well about the horrors of being junior on the 756 and doing nothing but bunkie flying to dangerous places like Săo Paulo and bid it on purpose to keep sharp with his disarming and brutalizing skills of his assailant.
