Off the street is about the same odds as its always been. It is very easy to get discouraged along the way but dont give up now. Hiring has been screaming through the pile. Keep the app on point.
So are you saying that it's impossible for a XJT pilot to get called by United unless everyone senior to him/her at XJT has already been called? No off-the-street hiring for CPP regionals then?

Recent class. 1/3 were Xjt CPP (12 yrs), 1/3 Mil. Last third were a mixed bag - 1 low time intern, 4 from other carries like Jet Blue, Virgin, Atlas etc and a handful of Air Whisky and other regionals - most commonly with LCA backgrounds.

1 thing they all had in common....outstanding personalities. I would gladly drink beer with all of them....including the Air Force guys.

We definitely could use former jetstream folks here!!! Just as long as they weren’t the primadonna J-41 gods!

Good luck!

EXACTLY

They keep all the less interesting/dumb women tied up

Well, unless it’s the one that’s into crew chiefs, he’s on his own
