I can, at the same time, think the comment is unfunny and inaccurate, while also thinking we shouldn’t have a hogan/personality test to get hired. I don’t see how that is related at all.

Possibly its the personality test they give in BI now? Hogan-like questions, but then they spend half a day going over your results as a class. It determines if you would play well with others.

There has always been a personality test. Long before Hogan/MMPI, it was the Chief Pilot’s impression of the applicant in an interview. That was final, and there was no appeal. :(

It's not a determination IF you play well with others...but more recognition that not all personalities are the same and you HAVE to play well with others. The question is asked...so you are Type X...what if your sim partner is Type Y? What approach are you going to take to being an effective team?

Or maybe just a BETTER process...

I think I received more training just watching that video then I did in all of the MAX "training" I received. Lol. We have come a long way, in the wrong direction.

Has anyone taken it yet? It's not in AirlineApps.

Is the hiring team 100% made up of pilots?

That's probably our problem. We're relying on people with HR degrees to come up with this garbage. Maybe we should just have pilots in charge. cut out the BS and let pilots hire pilots.

Maybe we (the Union) should request a member of the pilot hiring team be involved in the hiring of HR personal?!
