Not United. Curious, about how many will that leave on the furlough returnee after that class? Drop dead date for the last furloughees is November this year, correct?

Nice to see new hire classes entering in the summer. Maybe TK is finally caught up.

November is correct and the last ALPA System Schedule Report said there are 50.

IMHO, only a handful of the 50 will return. Those pilots can hold narrow-body CA or wide-body FO and will have 20-years of longevity this year for pay/vacation, so the ones that want to return already have.

Yes and no.

Both the company and ALPA have said a big reason for these classes is new instructor training to prepare for a HUGE wave of training this upcoming fall/winter/spring. Right now UAL has 45 new Boeings arriving in 2020 and they are all growth (17 are wide-bodies).

Combine that with known retirements and the training footprint looks staggering across all fleets.
