I’m not against a drag show. It’s not for me but let’s focus on the airline operation a little here. Ewr is not improving. It’s seems like it’s getting worse.

It’s never going to get better because the summer plan in EWR is ten lbs of poo in a five lb bag. Always been that way, always will be that way.

Well, it’s a good thing nobody asked you. This supported a great charity.

I would say it's unprofessional at any and every level.

Our corporate leadership must be insane...……...

No the better question is, as United Airlines is a company primarily focuses on transporting people via aircraft from point A to B to C and so on, why do they believe it necessary to alienate a percentage of their customers and employees by jumping into the corporate activist arena? Do they believe that this truly works to bring unity to their employee groups and garner the largest customer base?

The answer should be obvious. They're a corporation whose sole function is to generate profits for shareholders. Reading the political/social tea leaves and reacting to them helps the bottom line -- whether employees care or not.

bottom line here is that the higher ups at almost every corporation have decided that they are going to try to cram down this repulsive, immoral agenda down the throats of their customers and employees and they are not afraid of using intimidating tactics to do it.

How are you intimidated by this? "Immoral" is subjective and fungible. Social norms continue to evolve. You'd be shocked to know what was considered "immoral" 50, 200, 500 years ago.

are all different with different beliefs, etc. Do you really believe that one should feel that should have to resign when their company begins delving into religious matters that alienate a segment of their employees? That is threatening and harassment!

No one is harassing you or threatening you. I suggested it as an option since you feel so personally wronged. Stand on your principles, include your feelings in your resignation letter.

Or just vent on a forum.

It’s all business. United could give a $hit less about gay pride month. It’s all about PC and saying and practicing the right things at the right times. Same goes for all corporations.
