Default Zone Controller in Aviation Accident

A young IAD zone Controller (and former UAX dispatcher) was the sole survivor of a fatal aircraft crash in Alaska yesterday. Don't have a link to the article but just thought I would share it with you guys. I guess she's in critical condition in Anchorage.

Correct, somewhere near Moose Pass is where it impacted terrain. It's been very smoky in those regions due to a wildfire that's been burning for weeks.
