If the union would consider changes to scope we’d have a contract tomorrow. You don’t want that so it’s going to take some time. It hasn’t been a year yet, if you’ve been at any airlines you’d realize this is pretty common time frame so chill bro... I’d bet you beers we’ll be voting on something early next year.
Thanks. I am a neophyte to the airline industry and take solace in the knowledge of voting on something just around the corner.
One question of you'd indulge me. Should I expect full retro?

Disappointed or accepting the moment but never stop wanting more? I hear that golden goose got an upgrade and went platinum. It would be a shame though to ask for too much and send the company into bankruptcy.
Enjoy your weekend.

So still carrying the Bankruptcy/JCBA/Extension water for a 17% increase over 4 years? Will someone please remind me how much money the company is printing? How much of that is being sent out the door with a stock repurchase program? Gotta love silly season rumors.
Patience running thin.

Contracts don't take years to negotiate. Contract negotiations are drug out for years as a cost benefit. Gotta love the RLA.

With this much of a delay on a new CBA, the natives need to be made aware of what management is saying and why they're stonewalling us. Perhaps that might get enough fellers panties in a wad to voice their displeasure in more ways than just vocally.
As a PS, every day that we let pass on our amendable date equals lost improvements that would have been effective as of January 1st, 2019. Win for the company, big loss for our Pilot group.

You know what would be nice? Some sort of actual update with details on how really far apart we are on each area where there's been no progress. This top-secret BS needs to be shown the door pronto-like. As a member at the TOP of the ALPA pyramid, I want detailed facts and not just some vague generalizations on where managements stands.

Sorry guys but I'm not happy with this at all. I do own a phone and my Rep seems to know less about the situation than I do and also isn't pleased with the mushroom treatment. If you're both content to sit around be treated like mushrooms, (see in the dark and crapped on), be my guest. I choose not to and will continue to be vocal about our Negotiating Committee's communication shortfalls.
