Default United to scrub ceilings and bins: BS

No more refills: U.S. airlines step up measures to guard against coronavirus

https://news.yahoo.com/no-more-refil...192210003.html

In a letter to customers on Saturday, United Airlines Holdings Inc Chief Executive Oscar Munoz said it is "important that we give you as much information as possible about the procedures we follow to clean our aircraft and maintain a sanitary environment once we're in the air."

In addition to extra cabin-cleaning measures including washing ceilings and scrubbing overhead bins, United said its flight attendants may wear gloves during all food and beverage service and pickup.

HahahahahHa. What a load of BS. I just finished a four day trip and I didn’t see anything remotely resembling washing ceilings and scrubbing bins. When and where is this taking place? And by whom?

Hahahahahaha.

In the meantime, flight attendants can still be fired for calling in sick and accumulating points. Got coronavirus? No problem. Call in sick, get points, get fired.

Pathetic.

As a rewards customer I got that letter from United, Delta and SouthWest.
Talk about a day late and a dollar short

You're an angry one...aren't you? You have any brilliant ideas how to handle COVID-19?

If you were to have read the email, you would know why you didn't see "anything remotely resembling washing ceilings and scrubbing bins" after your flights. It's folks like you, the masses of sheeple, who believe everything the news media and social media hypes that causes the hysteria we are now seeing.

Good idea, instead of sending something internal to the company.... why not post your mindless banter on a public forum where the flying public can find even more reasons to not fly. Talk about burning down your house to get rid of the rats.

Wait till the flying public see a picture of cabin air filters! It will spur the same reaction that "The Jungle" did.
