My buddy worked in the state ABC store. When the word got out I asked him where all the Special Reserve was in town. There were 18 bottles within 35 mins of my house spread around in a half a dozen stores. Two hours later, they were all at my house. $18.50/bottle. That was a few years ago.

After that, I might get one here, one there but that was it. And for the last 3 yrs or so, forget it.

It REALLY PMO that I can buy it in Canada all day long, every day of the week!

For any who do the SFO short layover I've had excellent luck at Weimax Wines and Spirits on Broadway in Burlingame. Buffalo, Weller, Blantons.

If you ever find yourself on a turn to PLS, do yourself a favor and check out their duty free. Last year i got 8 bottles of blanton’s. Six of which were gold edition and straight from the barrel. Bottles you can’t even buy in the US. It was a terrific find.
