After downloading the excel, I simply changed the Off/On column headers to Out/In so it would calculate Night time. I also requested an hours log from DCA CPO. That log only has total time for each leg. So you cannot really use it if you want Out/In times. But one helpful thing it does have is a Landing column. So I equated Landing with Pilot Flying. I copied and pasted the Landing column to a new column on the excel file and called it Pilot Flying. In another added column called “actual IMC” I took a very conservative estimate of actual IMC for each leg. It is probably not 100% accurate but I know it definitely underestimated my actual IMC. Then, in a final column I added an ILS, RNAV, or Visual approach for each PF LEG based on destinations and a WAG. For example, I usually fly the RNAV in KSAN because there’s no ILS. That’s about the best I could do to get some history back.

I never should have stopped logging time. I stopped logging time when some CA told me it was a waste of time because I was “furlough-proof” after 4 years. Ha ha!!!

I know...Why did I stop! I guess I was being cheap and didn't want to pay Log10Pro for a yearly subscription. Now its costing me 3 months of my life. LOL

Has anyone purchased the Crew Companion logbook add-on? The $25/yr? Will it let you download a PDF of your flights, etc? Worth it?

Maybe, maybe not.

It only captures as far back as you have used CC.

You should be able to get a full spreadsheet from your flight office or PSC. If they give you any grief over the request remind them they did this for the last two cycles of furloughs even if they don’t normally advertise the ability.

I have paid, it is what I use… I believe it only lets you export .csv and .xls (not sure) it’s been a few months since I’ve flown.

Export the .CSV then copy and paste into excel Is my routine.

for me it’s worth it because Crew companion logbook had a few small things that the CCS export did not have when I was looking.

the crew companion logbook takeoff/landing data seems flawed. I think it assumes Ca gets the first leg and swap from there. The CCS log logs takeoffs and landings correctly as recorded in the UA computer system
