Let's be honest here. The airline world is a zero sum game. I feel bad for anyone who losses a job but if it is between my airline and any other one, I hope the others fail and disappear and we succeed. Oh yeah, that's called business. This isn't a charity. Have issue with that?

i am glad you did not get hired at United or did not apply at United good luck with this one SWAPA Awe....let's share lollipops and lemonade and all get along. Wake up, this is business. You throw the s-ab word out like that means anything for the discussion. Typical argument from the left when they can't debate an issue. Let's call names, that will show them. Maybe type in capital letters so I know you mean business. LOL |
I found this reported on Bloomberg Law from last week. It says that the early out will be offered only to United pilots over 62. Did anyone else see this?
"United Airlines Holdings Inc. reached a tentative agreement with its pilots over terms for voluntary leave programs and an “early out” separation plan for senior pilots who are 62 and older, their union said Thursday." https://news.bloomberglaw.com/daily-...rly-retirement |

I put it out last week as a guess, over 62, unless they need more, pay 50 plus 8 for b and c so about 58, med dental, some type of protection from bankruptcy, just a guess and JMO but looking at the other majors that is what I would think. I assume many more details. I also doubt that many will take this again my opinion only.
