Are you applying for one of the open positions? That will make it easier to furlough a bunch of folks who are PIs?
During the lost decade I was in and out if the building four times. I’ve seen this viscous cycle of furloughing or displacing experienced instructors go on multiple times. And every time I came back I had to requal to be a Type B. That ride is with the feds. I’ve taken it five times in total. Fun for the whole family!
