I was waiting to find out how you voted before making a decision. Thank you.

So we needed a second thread about voting being open after you were already the first one to comment on the original thread started? You’ve truly gone off the deep end. Voting yes...

If you look at the time stamp of both threads, they were started at the same time. I guess you weren’t smart enough to check out that out before opening your pie hole. Have been down this road before of a concessionary contact, you will regret that yes vote one day.

Out of curiosity 130shadow, are you in No vote because you think demand is coming back, demand is totally stagnating, or you think that giving the company this flexibility won’t really affect our ability to recover in a meaningful way?

Its actually none of the above. We have voted in concessionary contacts before and that have always come back to haunt us. If we gamble and lose, we have this this pay scheme for at least 2 years for saving furloughs for 8 months. If SK thinks demand is coming back, then HE shouldn’t furlough. He should not be asking the pilots to fund this.

When are the results out for us outsiders?

Voting closes on the 28th at noon. Would expect the results to be out late on the 28th.

And honestly, I don’t see demand coming back anytime soon. It will be a slow ramp up and not going to magically happen on a specific date. Kirby and Carlson can start looking at future bookings and then begin to ramp up. Kirby would like to keep pilots on the property just in case that magic day appears, but he doesn’t want to pay for it. And neither do I.

your vote is cast so...admit it now...
You drank that “Core4” punch during LEAP training and went back for seconds and thirds didn’t you? :)

Hmm that seems like a fun idea for the weekend. Who can come up with the best Core4 punch.

I think mine would be rum based.

1 part plantation dark
1 part plantation O.F.T.D.
1 part bacardi Reserva 8 yr
1 part orange juice

Blend with one cup crushed ice and serve with a tiny umbrella.

Might take some trial and error to find the right recipe.

As a Level 4 game changer I'll supply the glassware in honor of this TA.

He thinks that if 3000+ are guillotined from the bottom within a few short months that he will still remain unscathed.

that’s pretty funny :-)

you know, I liked LEAP training (solid level 3 guy here). didn’t care for charm school,
I thought the leadership stuff was a little patronizing.

I have not cast my vote yet. I definitely know how I would cast it today, but I will wait to see if any more information changes my mind. I don’t see a rush… There’s always more to learn

here it is
54/ 46 pass
my guess
1100 top group yes vote
1700 middle group yes vote
3300 lower group yes vote
600 probation pilots or so
6100 or so yes
5600 No votes
Average numbers of course

I think you’ll be surprised at how many in the upper group either want to keep their seat, or don’t mind working 10% fewer days a month. The Stock market has been pretty good the last 10 years, and most of the 60+ people I flew With were pretty squared away financially. The old trope of four divorces, an airplane and a boat seems less common.

I also think there are a lot of people in the lower group who categorically distrust management and view this not as working less, but working for less. To me that is an important difference, but not to others

There won't be that many yes in the lower group, particularly those that are in denial about furlough and haven't received a WARN yet.

Ohh wow, look at that you’re right! You just needed to open your pie hole on yet another thread moments after trying to be the first to the punch. Pathetic! Forgive me for not keeping exact tabs on time stamps of your 50 plus posts a day.

Im at peace with whatever the verdict is here because I’ve planned accordingly and set my expectations low. Hopefully you too can settle down a bit and brace for a yes verdict.
