Yeah, it's kinda like those guys who tout their "yes" vote out of the goodness of their heart in order to save jobs and livelihoods, but they end up being pay-protected making captain pay in the right seat.

Everyone had reasons for their votes, and guess what? Most of them were probably looking out for number 1 either in the short term or in the long term. And that's alright. The only way we all are guaranteed to lose is if we keep pointing fingers at the other side. It's over. Can we please move on?

what would a scab do

everybody had their reasons, but I think we need to be very careful making this an acceptable sentiment

Everybody had their reasons? Looking out for number 1? The majority on here admit most everyone voted their own self interest concerning this TA. #EMFH.

It's not an acceptable sentiment, but it's the reinforced reality here now.

'The majority' 'on here' 'say' 'everyone for the most part'..... Did you feel any shame at all when you posted that crap? At least take a stand - without using ALL qualifiers. Not very one voted their self interest. We're not martyrs, but for God's sake we ARE a union right?

And that means looking out for ALL members and coming up with a deal that benefits ALL members. The integrity of our contract must be preserved for the greater good of all. Furlough mitigation is fine but you cannot overpay. Is there a price for you where it is too much? What is it? But just because my number is different does not make me any less “union” than you.

I said earlier on another thread, I voted yes. I'm middle 3rd. Didn't lose my seat, thus no pay protection. There are many like me, especially in the upper 3rd. So not everybody was EMFH.... some of us truly thought we were doing the right thing. Although I must admit, I did like the sound of FC deadhead. ;)
