The intent of the FPL policy is for union peeps not to be enriched over that of the line pilots. When I read the language, the intent is pretty clear.
If they should get a 45 hour line value. thats what they get. if they get a reserve line, they should be paid accordingly. reserve guarantee. "concessions" to line pilots should be also felt within the ranks of ALPA reps. Negotiate the deal, and work under that deal. It's just the right thing to do. |

How union business WAS done is the issue.
That’s the story here. Come June, try finding someone that will admit they voted yes. We can argue about how the MEC did business, but line pilots screwed the pooch too. |

Is that really the representation that you want right now? When you work more than MPG that’s what you get paid. Why exactly is that different for MEC volunteers? What you’re lobbying for is actually CREDIT CAPS which is not part of the TA. To that, I hope the majority of pilots will join me with a resounding FU. |

You’re suggesting they should only work 45 hours a month, or 12 hours a week? Come in Monday for a full day, then bail by noon on Tuesday?

Help me understand the difference, are they volunteers or full time employees? |

You bring up a good point. Perhaps the union needs caps. Maybe too much volunteering?
