If by vehicle you mean IRA vs the PRAP, you can rollover or convert your after-tax contributions to the PRAP to Roth within the PRAP; however you can only move those assets to a Roth IRA after leaving the company. You can however, have separate PCRAs for each contribution type, if you wanted to do that.

yes. But that may depend on your individual situation. For example, if your spouse is self employed you may have access to additional after tax contributions.

What are the qualifications of the new R/I person the MEC put on the R/I committee? Did we make that committee more junior?

Yes. Gone. Held my nose and clicked the box. 6 months of practice retirement helped seal the deal.

Congrats!! You will be missed. However, just because you leave gainful employment, doesn't mean you can't tease us with some current affairs and fishing pictures.

Fair sailing my friend.

Guppie, Motch, Dave,

Thanks for the kind words. Not too happy about the way my career ended, but eFF it. I waited patiently for the better part of 20 years for my "time to make it up" and then Todd decided the rules that I've been operating under since 1986 needed changing. And now guys tell me that I'm a dick for pointing it out. Amazing.

It feels great to know that I'm done with all the BS that this industry has adopted in the last decade and will likely promulgate as you guys move forward. But who knew that LEAP BS would infect the damn union? It really is an association now, just a club. Behncke would crap himself if he was presented with and had to vote on this agreement.

Glad I started in the right seat of the 727 and ended up on the 777. Now I'm going to saddle up my 1-10 (or was it 10-1?) attitude and enjoy my old age before I have to wear diapers and velcro sneakers.

Keep up the good fight and keep ****ing off the Marvins and lick-spittle lackeys who would gladly fly your jet for half.

They won't realize how right you are until down the road a bit. Please do post more fishing pics though.
