Costas was a great guy, still cannot believe he's gone. He was very active in multiple volunteer positions within the union and a great advocate for the profession.

We lost a good one.

Sad news god speed to both of them and the United family.

Oh wow, that’s terrible. Sounds like United lost a good one. :(

Very sad. Far too early to know what happened obviously. But it made me remember this recent article.

I found the same rock formations from the accident photos very high up on the south side of Ingram basin using g. Earth. What horrible tragedy. :(

Too tragic. My thoughts & prayers go out to their family & friends.

He was a really good friend of mine. I’m beyond devastated that this happened and especially just a few days after the wedding. We hadn’t seen each other for awhile but had been recently talking about finally making something happen. Sickening to say the least.

While I’m crushed that we lost two amazing individuals way too soon, those two had just spent an incredible summer together. They left this earth with hearts after their last few incredible days together and that’s what’s bringing me some sort of peace. The world and in particular our pilot group lost an absolute gem of a human being.

This is just crushing. In the relatively short time I knew Costas it was clear he was the rare sort of individual who both truly enjoyed life yet always took real time and effort to improve things for those around him. An absolutely "pay it forward" kind of person who who left us all far too soon.

what does the thread title have to do with what occurred?

I am missing something ?
