I believe they recalled employees that they furloughed as part of the cares 2.0. Now they get furloughed again in April.

So this furlough notice does not include pilots since there are vacancies?

Well, it doesn’t have to do with vacancies. The LOA guaranteed that through June and then crew resources stated there aren’t any pilot furloughs planned for 2021. The “unfilled” vacancies statement isn’t entirely true. For instance the minimum Manning for SFO320FO was 90 pilots. However, before the bid there were 215 or something and now there are still around 170. Doing the math, that knocks out 80 “unfilled” vacancies. I’m sure the other traditionally BESs are the same. it doesn’t include pilots because of the LOA we voted in. The LOA was put on hold during cares 2. April 1 it starts back up again.

"Regular" direct-entry mainline interviewing is not occurring yet. |
