Yep. Not unexpected.

So this furlough notice does not include pilots since there are vacancies?

Well, it doesn’t have to do with vacancies. The LOA guaranteed that through June and then crew resources stated there aren’t any pilot furloughs planned for 2021. The “unfilled” vacancies statement isn’t entirely true. For instance the minimum Manning for SFO320FO was 90 pilots. However, before the bid there were 215 or something and now there are still around 170. Doing the math, that knocks out 80 “unfilled” vacancies. I’m sure the other traditionally BESs are the same.

it doesn’t include pilots because of the LOA we voted in. The LOA was put on hold during cares 2. April 1 it starts back up again.

Sorry for being honest and realistic. I guess we can return to your regular scheduled programming of pipe dreams. Lets be honest with each other as to not spread false expectations.

Well, to be specific, the work reductions and MPG adjustments to the 3 tiers were placed on hold. The rest of the LOA was in full effect.

Required by Federal law, in fact. The WARN Act.

Sadly I couldn’t agree more and the situation were in is unfortunate. Stay positive, but live in reality. Frontier’s application window is opening and everyone is getting excited. They can review apps and do remote interviews as much as they want but until a new hire is in training it means nothing.

Sort of, but only for https://unitedaviate.com.

"Regular" direct-entry mainline interviewing is not occurring yet.
