Simulator and mask
 

I keep seeing lots of memos about wearing masks. I haven't seen any about wearing them in the simulators. Gotta go to sim soon and was wondering what to expect. I think the briefing room is likely to be expected. How's it in the sim? How's the communication, etc?

Masks entire time. No headsets.

And no “O2” mask use in the sim either, correct?

Everywhere within TK except when eating and drinking... even during the pre/debriefs and within the sims.

Look up "when mask mandates get out of control" you see pictures of TK.
YES in sim! Unless instructor cool, once sim in air. The TK mask police are out in force.

Even before Covid, I usually found some way to bring food into the brief, or at least a drink....got to stay hydrated with all that dry air up in DEN.

yep and if/when the instructor is "cool", I can't think of any individual who has more lengthy close quarters interactions with more people from more states during any given week. sounds like a great plan.

It's a scientific fact that the folks who don't wear masks definitely don't care about your opinion of masks. We really don't.

Had to get a new name. Time to be full anonymous on the web as we work for an activist company that goes after people for saying anything about them on FB etc. Doesn't make my opinion any less valid. Our company has become an activist company with donations, bans, etc. I disagree with it. Don't need to get fired for it. Same with the masks. 1/2 the country is tired of the game. Clearly by my new name you could narrow me down to about 4000 people. Hopefully that satisfies whether I'm qualified to talk on the board or not.
