If it’s uneven enough, then sure, a water-proof shimmy can be used. To be fair, I’m still an apprentice and am learning the art. I’ve gotten pretty good with cast iron, soldering, etc. I miss the jet sometimes but overall I’m happy

Don’t forget a good scraping tool for the old wax/poo mixture that must be removed. Wear rubber gloves too!

not even close. Simply following the path of the conversation that YOU began. I actually wish I had better plumbing skills. Could’ve saved lots of $$ through the years.

I see. Sorry if I came on too quick. It’s been a good change for me career wise. We’ll see if it pays off. Hopefully I’ll know within the next 35-40 years.
