Default CQDL

Are pilots contractually obligated to complete all the touchy-feely PC stuff on this quarter's CQDL? I thought in the past the union has put out we are under no obligation to complete that stuff. I could be wrong, so honestly asking. Nothing like 10 hours of work for 2 hours of pay.

Just do the aircraft systems portion yourself and pay your kid $50 to do the fluff. Both parties will consider it money well spent.

No, my kids aren't permitted to submit to that garbage brainwashing, whether at home, the classroom, or otherwise. I would much rather give them $50 for learning something real and useful and just do it myself. I'm already immune to the career victimhood /-ist groupthink.

Good point. My kids saw what I had to watch and just laughed. I just let mine play on mute while watching TV. Either hit next or answer a question when I noticed the video had stopped. Complete waste of time, but this stuff is here to stay.

You mean to tell me your kids don’t do the systems portion?

Perhaps something like this could be addressed by the union? Maybe contractually?

All contractual gains and leverage were already spent on the LOA.. Contract 2026 maybe.

Pro tip;

When you get to the part of the CQDL were we find out it’s okay for Ricky to date Bobby but not to date Johnny because Johnny is a furby and dislikes everyone but koalas.

Hit next as rapidly as possible it’ll let you cycle through the slides as fast as you can hit next. When you get to the “quiz” if you fail it three times it lets you advance to the next module. Then we learn that it’s never okay to trade sexual favors for career advancement unless it’s a consensual trade.
