Any prep is good prep, and generally well worth the price.

But “I've been hearing” and “incredible success rate” trigger plant warnings amongst a pretty savvy population. Have you used them, or can one of your buddies give some testimonial? That will certainly increase the odds of people on here seeking them out. Or even, “friend of mine now at Airline X has started up a new prep company specifically designed to transition mil guys from single seat to 121 FO cradle-to-grave with resume build, interview prep, app review, CRM study, PBS/schedule builds, pay and benefits overview, etc., for a monthly subscription fee.”

I’d call it Prestige Worldwide though.

And welcome. Hope it’s successful.

I hear ya and that I guess was just my forum inexperience showing through.

I have squadron mates from both active and reserve who have used Spitfire and have been hired at FedEx, UPS and United. Another guy that was in my reserve squadron has an interview with Frontier and I would be absolutely shocked if he doesn’t get the offer. If folks are interested they should check them out and make a decision for themselves. In my mind it’s like airlines, ya gotta find the right fit and there are options for everyone out there.

FLY SAFE!

Okay… Highflyer35… yep you got me, total advertisement, for a company that I know has helped a bunch of good dudes land their dream job. But I guess I shouldn’t mention it on the thread about interview prep. Take it or leave it, doesn’t matter I just thought it would be helpful to pay it forward to those that may be overwhelmed by the options and may not have access to all the insider info that us mil guys constantly share to ensure a leg up throughout the whole application and interview process.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

FLY SAFE!

Because all of us lowly civilians didn’t have this exclusive “insider info” and NEVER share anything regarding interviews and interview prep

Seriously, that’s great whomever takes a different approach.

But so far, the shop across the street has it right, as does Albie, et al.

Not what I meant but the “lowly civilians” definitely don’t circle the wagons to help one another like the mil guys.

So why not share the options and let guys prepping decide?

In all reality, we’ve all been in this game long enough to know who to go to, and for where.

You must wear a ring.

Bug if you really want to go “there”....

......I don’t think mil or civ has a leg up on networking and helping each other out.

Over 20 years, 4 airlines, 6 interviews (all successful). Mostly, due in part to my civ AND mil friends that interviewed before me.

But YMMV.

Maybe a bit off path but any recommended literature? History of the company type stuff etc.

Shareholder reports have lots of good info if you know someone who owns a share or if you buy one yourself. For books I would recommend The Age of Flight. It’s a solid history of United in an easy to read format.
