Default TSA Preheck Issues

Anyone else having TSA Precheck issues? The wife and I traveled internationally recently and as we were approaching the front of line I noticed our boarding passes didn’t say Precheck. Needless to say rejected! Tried instantly rebooking...nope. Got home, made sure our numbers were in EmployeeRes. Today I made sure my Known Traveler # was inputted as I checked in. No Precheck! Something is up. We all use KCM which is probably why I didn’t notice this issue earlier. Curious if on my end or others having issues. Thanks! 😎

the United app isn’t saving precheck numbers for some reason. When booking in the app it will ask for it. Also Before checking in each and every time verify that the number is in the edit traveler information section. No idea why it’s not saving but it’s a pain.

Funny this came up & had the same question yesterday. I took my first flight as a retiree & opened the My TSA app to see how long the wait would be for security. There was a link on the app leading to scheduling an interview for Pre Check. Apparently it costs $85 now.

I had problems in early April, perhaps coincidentally on my first pass ride immediately following a work anniversary. When I went into Employee Res I found that my KTN was gone, but my family's KTN numbers were still in. I re-entered my KTN and received an error message warning me that there was more than one KTN in the system. But it has stuck and worked since then, despite the initial error message.

Glad I'm not the only one. I have to keep putting in my KTN manually for each reservation now. Not the end of the world but it's annoying.
