Kirby has repeatedly talked about increasing gauge. Southwest is expanding in DEN and they are now flying into IAH. Hopefully we use these planes to fight them on level ground. My commute is just one small example, but we are sending CRJ200’s and 175’s up against full Southwest 737’s. If we keep taking knives to a gunfight, the competition is going to stomp us, at least domestically. I’d like nothing more than to see us eliminate the single class 50 seaters, replace the lift with mainline aircraft, and hire accordingly at United.

How senior is CLE going these days? Is the only equipment there the 737?
