At what point does the FDA have enough data to move the drug into an "approved" status?

Not related to the vaccine itself. But there needs to be consequences for China. This crap came out of a laboratory in Wuhan. Either intentionally or inadvertently. China needs to reimburse our treasury for our loss in GDP, loss of productivity,and the additional national debt I would love to learn more about Fauci's connections to the Wuhan Lab and the CDC's involvement and investment of US tax dollars into China's Bio-virology programs.

This is my favorite question because so many of the people claiming they won’t take a vaccine on the grounds it is “experimental” don’t even know the difference in requirements for EUA & full authorization. The answer is an additional 3 months of data.

3 months.

As has been mentioned, that data has already been collected & in the case of Pfizer, submitted & under review. Others to follow soon. As the EUA was granted based on the results of the first half of the clinical trial data, and no additional side effects have been noted (you could argue J&J on this one) full authorization is all but a sure thing.

It will be amusing to see how many move from the “I’m not taking an experimental drug” column to the “I don’t trust the FDA to tell me what’s safe” one at that time. I’m expecting big numbers.

The reality is all these big tough airline pilots are scared of a little needle like my 5 year old. They are just hiding behind this experimental nonsense.

I don’t want to drive the speed limit when I’m late. “It’s a free country” plays well in the 3rd grade; it’s not the end-all you want it to be in the courts. True, it’s very unlikely you’d ever see criminal penalties against the unvaccinated in this country. Plenty of precedent for denying access to certain benefits, services, and events without it, though.

so don’t get one. But in this free country a company is probably free to require you to get one or you don’t have to work for them. Free country and all.

This would make a lot more sense if the movement came from the raw food/crystals crowd.

but, if you don’t see any problem with factory farming and the crazy amount of chemicals that are required in your food to make that possible, yet are skeptical about this vaccine… you are quite simply stupid or a hypocrite

The argument for or against mandatory vaccination is completely separate from the skepticism about the vaccination in the first place
