Well…it was fun while it lasted…

A very underwhelming vacancy bid just came out. FOs only.

which was the plan as advertised months ago, so not sure why anyone would be surprised.

It’s just a bid to generate new hire vacancies. They’re working to get all the pieces on the chess board for summer flying. Don’t expect to see anything big again until they gear up for the next winter training cycle for summer 2023/24.

I think the surprising part is that the unfilled CA and widebody FO spots from the last bid are no longer there, but maybe I’m dumb.

Well, that’s enough vacancies to cover about 1.5 months of new hires. Anyone else feel like ZS was trying to impress us with his vocabulary all while giving us zero substance in his 4 pages of fluff? The vacancy itself tells you everything you need to know about our close in hiring plans. Maybe they are just trying to catch up with IOE, the flying this summer is dropping off and there aren’t that many qualified candidates left to hire anyway.

We don’t care how smart you think you (ZS)are, or need story time that is irrelevant to the conversation. Give us the info and skip the babble.

There is no way his writing style is going to please everyone, it's always going to be damned if you do, damned if you don't. It's a no win. You just want succinct facts only, and while I like that too, some expounding is nice - but also keep in mind they aren't going to give too much detail because they know it will be immediately leaked - like on here. So, hence some fluff and some data.
