As much as Swayne seems to be the typical millennial or genZ that needs the gratification/"look at me!!!!" factor, he's at least made a crap ton of videos for people trying to get into the career. From a lot of aspects. As lame as they are.

but think about it , what type of individuals are hired in HR ? Commonly the type of people that are trendy and eat this stuff up , doesn’t surprise me in the least. IMO , he doesn’t represent the majority of pilots in the US . He clearly comes from a dif group compared to most pilots .

I kind of get the feeling that professionalism and safety are not the highest priorities for hiring pilots.
Narcissism has been “celebrated” in the industry for decades…not much has changed. Social media and being woke is a warm cloak indeed.
Who cares about being on-time or treating customers with integrity and respect? Pfff…we have got emotional parasites to fill…a lot of empty souls out there need validation.
