Heard from multiple grapevines that the deal is done (TA2) and they are sitting on it for appearances. (Survey and Intense Art of the Deal stuffs).

I mean, why? Company wants instructor jobs filled yesterday, I’m sure the remaining reps would like any ammunition they can get to win their recall elections.

Was one of those grapevines the TK shuttle driver? His rumors can be accepted as gospel.

If it’s as big of a POS as rumored, it would be the nails in the coffin.

It would have to be released soon to allow for the education tours and voting if they want to hit the self imposed deadline

It's never done until the deadline passes. Any agreement reached prior to the deadline will fall short of what could be gained by using the threat of putting TA1 back on the table. IMO your rumors are partially true at best. Probably the broad strokes are agreed to, but the $$$$s will climb as the deadline approaches.

It doesn’t need all that by NOV 1, it just needs to be a new TA in order for them to pull down TA1.

Based on the last time they would still need a week or two to get it from an AIP to a TA, but, if they were that close, they could always push the NOV 1st date another week. It was artificial anyway.

It's possible the MEC is holding it back until Tumi's run for a national position is decided upon---either way.
