Note to ourselves. Just say no on scope relief.

So you're thinking that this deal was just put together recently ... after our TA was put on hold?
While that's a nice story/spin from management, I suspect this purchase was conceived prior to the pilots effectively killing the TA.

Are they? Or are they not able to operate efficiently on long stage lengths?
The new FAA pax weights simply mean that they have to reduce fuel loads. That was an increase of 20lbs/pax. Times 50 = 1000 lbs.
Now, how much did the TA increase max weight? More than 1000 lbs? Hmmm.

Management came up with the 550 to get around our scope limits. I don't have any sympathy for them.

You can come up with whatever conspiracy story that makes you feel good… either way nothing you can do to stop it.

LOL! Just a coincidence; no problem giving the company scope relief on this item...

I am pretty certain that these are the Mesa birds that already went through the conversion and already flying for GoJet.

Say it isn’t so… you just blew up a couple conspiracies if true.

They are, and go jet couldn’t make the payments on them. I flew the 700s for Mesa and saw them around with the new paint jobs.
