The OP point is correct. The airline's job is to fly airplanes, not to push a political agenda or debate societal norms. Granted UAL is the same company that held a drag show in the middle of the day in the EWR terminal. So there probably isn't any hope left for them.
How about no more “Support the Troops” banners and preferential hiring for veterans. You cool with keeping those “politics” out of the business?????

Just a little food for thought: I’ve personally known people who literally lost their lives to the fear of coming out to families & communities that didn’t accept them for who they were. Heaven forbid the next time it’s someone you care about. No one is asking you to celebrate or really do anything other than sit down & be quiet if it doesn’t apply to you. (I.e., stay in your lane.)
